Last updated: 15 June 2025
GamJoy.io (“GamJoy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the intellectual-property rights of game developers, publishers, artists, musicians, and all other creators. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512 (“DMCA”), we respond promptly to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement and terminate repeat offenders where appropriate.

If you believe material hosted on or linked from GamJoy.io infringes your copyright, please send us a written notice containing all of the following information (DMCA § 512(c)(3)):
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (title, URL to official version, game asset ID, etc.).
- Location of the infringing material on GamJoy.io (complete URL or game page, plus a screenshot or description precise enough for us to find it).
- Your contact information—name, mailing address, phone number, and a reachable email address.
- A good-faith statement that you believe the disputed use is not authorized by you, your agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

2. What Happens Next?
- We’ll acknowledge receipt and begin review.
- If your notice is complete and valid, we will disable access to or remove the allegedly infringing content as quickly as practical.
- We’ll notify the user or developer who posted the content and provide a copy of your notice.
- The user/developer may submit a counter-notification (see Section 3). If they do, we may restore the content unless you file an action seeking a court order within 10–14 business days.
3. Counter-Notification Procedure
If you believe your removed content is not infringing—or you have authorization— you may file a counter-notice that must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the removed material and its prior location (URL).
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, phone number, and email, plus a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the U.S. Federal District Court for your district (or, if outside the U.S., for any judicial district where we may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original takedown notice.
Send the counter-notice to dmca (at) gamejoy.io. After we receive it:
- We’ll forward it to the original claimant.
- Unless the claimant notifies us within 10–14 business days that they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain you, we will reinstate the material.
4. Repeat-Infringer Policy
GamJoy.io terminates user accounts and/or developer partnerships of those who are found to be repeat infringers, in accordance with DMCA § 512(i).
5. False Claims Warning
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material or activity is infringing (or was removed in error) may be liable for damages—including costs and attorneys’ fees.
